Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

This and Furtive Chase changes are only good changes from PTB.

Trapper ofcourse need some more changes but i am glad he is finally getting some attention.

I dont care about Skull Merchant. Trapper-Adjustments of the traps spawning-location is VERY GOOD, even if we see it in a bugfix-patch after this one. I love this change for the Trapper.

    The Perk-Changes make sense.

Overall a good update! Looking forward to try Futive Chase and the new Trapper.

Background Player up to 200% is very good and the way this perk should be changed. 4 or 5 seconds doesnt matter, but the speed to be able to save one is the thing you need to do.

Still think him spawning with all his traps isn't too much to ask for. Just make him spawn with all of them but once he gets down to 2 then the hard cap sets in.

This is pretty great news! I always had issues with the trap spawning.

    Agree.

Having him possess all of his traps is a problem.

I'm respect to Dev for not doing extreme buffs.

I agree, that the Trapper changes are probably the best thing about this patch but I don't think the Skull Merchant changes are that bad. I only played against her once on the PTB and it wasn't all that fun but I think these changes make her a lot more interesting both to play as and against. Plus, no more Caitlyn 3Genner.

I don't love the Furtive Chase rework, personally. I would prefer it, if we didn't slap Haste and Endurance effects on random perks to make them better. This makes the perk pretty uninteresting to me. Not insanely strong or weak but uninteresting in the way that you hook the obsession and then you are basically guaranteed another quick hit on the next survivor you find. It does have a more fun niche on Oni and Hillbilly though, so that is something.

Background Player also got a very nice buff. Changing it to 200% instead of 150% like almost every other exhaustion perk and increasing the duration to 5 seconds sounds nice. I might actually end up using it now.

What's really nice about this change is it will always work regardless of map. I always promoted the locker pick up as a map independent fix, as "centralising" trap spawns was kinda flakey as a all maps fix... but this is actually even smarter... so WP BHVR there.

It also actively encourages Trapper to patrol gens, and he has a speed boost when setting traps to make him actually a potent anti looper.

Its great to see BHVR not sticking to keeping the OG killer in the dirt in the name of being "simple".

Rather they just give him all his damn traps already...

    Trapperbros... We're going home...

Now, just need to kill MFT for good measure.

This improves the number of Gen's that can be fixed before first down from 4 to 3.

Shouldn't we already have everything in our possession by default from the beginning?
