These 2 characters have been in the game since the dawn of time and they haven’t had a Christmas sweater cosmetic ever since their release
will we ever get one for Quentin or Laurie atleast?

One word: Licensing.
I wouldn't hold your breath, especially for Quentin, he's literally never had a store cosmetic.

Laurie did get like 2 cosmetics before but until now she didn’t get a Christmas cosmetic and poor Quentin never had a cosmetic since his release
