Is something wrong with the dedicated servers?
I've just played two Dredge games in a row. In both, about halfway into the match, all of the survivors started running in place, I was unable to move, and then the game ended with an error message popping up saying something along the lines of "Dedicated server not responding...".
All of us had the disconnected symbol, as if we'd DCed, and I got no points nor contributions made to my Tome Challenge (despite completing it in both matches).
I got a disconnection penalty both times (thankfully only short because I don't ever intentionally DC), but I don't want to continue playing if it's going to keep happening.
I've checked my internet connection, and everything is fine on my end.
Not sure if it's relevant, but the HUD was also behaving weirdly in both games. The Nightfall meter would come and go seemingly randomly from the HUD...
Is this just a me problem, or are you guys having issues too?

I have been having server issues today. Lag in matches as well as what appeared to be a full match crashing however I still got the 5-10 seconds penalty.

I commonly see posts about this on bug reports for the past few weeks... I'm convinced it's a game issue rather than a personal technical issue like they want us to believe...
Game also keeps pushing me in 400ms lobbies lately and I have to skip and find one where I get my usual ping... Nothing wrong with my internet either I tested extensively.

The game is filled with people that can disconnect you at will, atm, AND the game is experiencing server issues.
Just in time for the new event :D

Yeah, something is absolutely wrong with dedicated servers. This has just happened a third time and I got another disconnect penalty for it ☹️. I've ran all of the usual checks, and there's nothing wrong with my connection:
- My ping, upload speed, download speed, etc. are all fine.
- No one else in my household is having problems with the internet.
- I'm not having issues with any other online game.
This is 100% a Dead by Daylight problem.
I have to say I'm really disappointed, because this was looking like the first patch we'd had in a while where something didn't go disastrously wrong. But alas, BHVR continues to disappoint...

Looks very much like my ol' venerable Xbox1 did when Blight first came out... thought it was going to melt and slide off onto the floor.

The game does feel kinda off since the update. I main Deathslinger and his shots just don't feel right. I feel like I have to aim off way more than I normally do and straight target shots seem to be missing a lot when people are static. It's almost like a lag delay and looks quite glitchy when they move and slide along walls.

Ye, something is def off with servers / how players are commected to servers by the game. Had people not getting from orematch lobby to match lobby several times, got people getting disconmected mid match while their vc and stream continued without issue, had a bunch of killers with horrendous ping and a lot of server responses to actions feel off as well; especially noticeable with timings on semi-ranged killers with small hitboxes.

Sorry but this is unacceptable. I should not be getting a disconnect penalty when it's the game server that's at fault. If this isn't going to be fixed quickly (i.e. in a couple of days) then the DC penalty needs to be temporarily disabled. This is getting out of hand.

If they have anything in a patch for this, it would likely be out on Tuesday they tend to do updates then. Certainly nothing on weekends they're not in the office.
Bad things happen whenever they do turn off the DC penalties. Every time.

+1 on random disconnects during matches. Happened to me atleast 4 times since the update.

Could well be an AWS issue. We had massive issues in my work recently due to certain forced AWS version upgrades that they assured us wouldn't happen. And shockingly, they happened. So could be related.
