Lethal doesn’t actually need to be nerfed at all though. I’d give it up in a heartbeat if it guaranteed MFT went away with it, but it’s not actually an equal exchange. It’s just what I would do in this hypothetical situation.

In reality, just because one thing is too strong doesn’t mean that in order to nerf it there has to be compensation for the other side. Sometimes it works out that way, but it doesn’t necessarily have to. That’s not to say nothing from the killer side should be nerfed btw, there are a lot of things I’d like to see changed, but they should be changed because they are problems themselves, not just in response to a survivor perk being nerfed (or vice versa).

I'd rather trade MFT's haste removal for Lethal Persuer to only have the obsession's aura revealed round start, keep the additional aura reading across all aura perks though.

I won't take that trade, lethal is fine the way it is, mft however absolutely isn't fine the way it is. I will trade you ultimate weapon though because that perk is loathsome and just like MFT it doesn't belong in this game.

That would be like saying they buff Blast Mine to a 20s stun, and it being nerfed back down to 4s was an equal trade for a 2s reduction nerf on Lethal. They (medkits and O/CoB/ruption) aren't remotely comparable with how busted those degen 3gen perks were.

Med-kits have been needing a 'fix' for quite some time. They used to be able to turn a Survivor 32s action (16+16) into a 16s or 10.66s action, with no meaningful usage altruistically. Now they can take ~24s-21s (total Survivor seconds) to heal altruistically (one and a half times), or 24s to heal personally. People knew med-kits were getting nerfed, but they couldn't imagine BHVR's decision to make the only difference in rarity tier be a 5% altruistic heal speed. I personally still wanted the Green Medkit identity of faster self-healing, and the Purple Medkit identity of 2 basekit heals. Both could have been done by removing the speed reduction on Green, and the item inefficiency on Purple (and leaving it at 32 charges). When you are working within a limited space, suggestions (such as mine) tend to be ignored in favor of their more sweeping changes to 'send a message'.

Essentially, med-kits needed a nerf, when the problem was selfish healing. Sadly that means soloq is going to be disproportionately impacted because med-kits in soloq or SWF were giving the equivalent of We'll Make It time save on a brown item. I think Self-Care should be buffed back up to 45%, just enough that altruistic healing is more efficient, but also still possible for self-healing. That would help soloq plenty.

As someone who never left the filthy survs house without Distortion, this deal is invalid.

UW for MFT deal seems more promising to me.

So trade turning my brain off when I'm tired on killer for the same when I play survivor? Although they are completely different levels of strength.

    Nah, I'm good.

So one perks is very healthy for the game and one is very unhealthy for the game....

    That's a hard question actually.

If you had asked the same question except lethal pursuer is changed with ultimate weapon, my answer would be clear: yes!

But lethal pursuer is a really important perk for slower killers to get into matches faster. Soooooo.

No. For the overall health of the game, I personally would not take that deal.

No deal. I like using LP way too much on Ceno and Piggly Wiggly to take the deal. Not worth it imo for lil ol' MFT.

why would you make such an unreasonable comparison?
