Is there any known reason as to why there's a distinct lack of any teasers for the upcoming PTB?
For an extremely long time, BHVR has put out small, guessing-game type teasers nearly every day, starting a week before the PTB. Given the time frame given on when the next chapter release was said to be, and how long it's been since the Alien chapter, it's safe to assume the next PTB should be sometime next week.
Soooo why aren't there any teasers? I understand that when it comes to licenses, the releases of trailers can change (i.e. sadako reveal months beforehand) but it seems a little odd to just have no teasers at all, generate zero hype. Teasers may seem like a small, insignificant concern, but they're a genuinely important thing to a lot of the community. They're great advertising, and if nothing else, they're fun. So is there any reason why there aren't any teasers out?

There has been content that didn't receive a teaser/trailer until the same day the PTB went live, it's not too unusual.

Either it's because it's something so big they want to keep it hidden for as long as they can,
Or they've somehow teased it already...

It's quite odd for a licensed killer. What could be big enough to be 'Capital L' license but at the same time not be worth drumming up hype for? Makes you wonder.

I have an outlandish theory, that is that they are waiting for the license holder to announce it first on November 6th. Yea, outlandish and very unlikely, but... I will never stop dreaming!

Guessing you're hoping for Stranger Things? IIRC Nov 6th is Stranger Things day. It's possible. I do think it's Predator though.

I am so torn on how I would feel if it were Stranger Things.
While I would love for it to return and a second chapter would be amazing, a second chapter being just a killer with no survivors is also disappointing.
