It's not Myers's Weapon
People so confused about that because both weapons are looks so similar. But no, the knife in teaser is not belong to Myers. As you see, it's 99% Chucky's knife.

It's a standard kitchen knife. Looks just like Myers knife to me. And quite frankly if this isn't a Myers rework I'm going to be pissed off as I main him and he's so outdated. I've been waiting for some kinda of change for years now.

They said that in Q&A event, Myers is not getting any change anything soon. And they had no reason to lie here because main purpose was sharing information with community.
So Myers rework is not coming any time soon. I don't wanna be this guy but i am telling you, don't get your hope up. I want to see Myers rework tho, he deserves it.

I bet it's a 2 in 1. Hint at next Killer and rework. I mean look at this commercial. They are together here, so why not in DBD? :)

You are setting yourself up to be pissed off because a teaser that is purposefully vague shows a kitchen knife which kinda fits half of all slasher killers?? When you already got official confirmation that Myers rework is coming in future but not that soon as it hasn’t even hit design phase a few weeks ago?

Probably supposed to be Chucky’s knife on the wall
Chucky is like 2 1/2 feet tall, and Michael Myer’s knife on that magnetic strip would just look humongous in comparison to the shadow presented in the pic. MM’s height ranged from 5’11” to 6’9” over all the films. His knife looks gigantic in his huge hand.
While Michael most likely respects Chucky for what he does, he has to be laughing inside at how small his little knife is.

We learned that they are allowed to lie if it helps a nda agreement rember when mathu said we've been trying to contact Netflix but nothing?
Now it is very likely that's its chucky which is honestly kinda a buzz kill to me

The first 3 movies are pretty serious. I pretend the rest don't exist except for Bride of Chucky. I do like that one. When it turned into more comedy I strayed away.

They have no reason to lie in Q&A , that's the point. They said Myers will get changes but they have no time. So don't wait anytime soon. Why they will lie about that? Why they will lie about already existing killer?
And when they teased any rework like that before?
You guys are just making hype for no reason. Myers rework is not happening tomorrow. If it was part of update, you would see details in Developer Update.

I'm a paying customer. I own all the characters, survivors and killers. And I hate to pull out the Karen card here. But like I've said the only reason I started playing this game is because I realized I could play as Michael Myers. I've played mainly as him for 2 1/2 years now and when I started playing the character everyone was already shouting that he was outtdatted and that was almost 3 years ago now. Popular streamers like Otz saying his D tier and the worst killer in the game for awhile. So I've been anxiously awaiting some sort of update even if it's how he looks or new skins of some sort. He badly needs a rework because his base kit does not keep up with the direction this game has gone.
Also let me just clarify its MICHAEL MYERS. The icon, the one who probably got this game to the heights its gotten to as he was the FIRST licensed killer.

And yet here in this game we have bears, large rabbits and mr puddles lol this game very much has comedy in it, also I relate more to Chucky been horror in the first 3, grew up with it.

He hasn't been significantly touched in years that was my point. But I am glad to hear something is eventually planned in the future. That's certainly nice to hear finally.
