how do i check how long ive been banned for
i got banned but it does not tell me for how long
is there no way to check?

Against the rules to discuss bans on the forum, you can open a support ticket on their website

Bans are permanent. If you are on Steam, it will keep track of the time on your profile page.

I mean, it is even written in the link:
"If an offense is considered to be particularly egregious, the duration of the ban may skip one or more steps in this process."
So you can be permanently banned without having the escalation-process which is written here. There are some offenses which will get you pemanently banned immediatly.
