There is already perks and items for this to help without being an actual free escape for nothing. There are perks helping you to open gate faster (Wake Up!, Sole Survivor, to a lesser degree Resilience), and other perks help you find the hatch (Clairvoyance, Left Behind) which you can open with a key.
now, I kinda think that No Way Out is a little bit too definitive in this scenario and could use some change (eg not working when gates got powers through closing hatch or at least not as long)

No I didn’t say they should. I said there is the option. And just to be clear, opening a gate is possible even without a specific build for it. I just stated there is in-game mechanics that make it easier if it is an actual problem for someone.

It's not a free escape if the survivor manages to escape. The killer can bring noed or whatever.

the offering proposed here is not healthy for the game and the perks/items I mentioned deal with this issue already while not being blatantly unbalanced. It’s also not a full build you would need to use for that - you have different options and all of these benefit you even in additional scenarios

So after the killer kills 3 survivors, finds hatch first, closes hatch, you want the equivalent of a free escape against most killers for an offering that affects all survivors, as a reward for not slugging for the 4k. No because the counterplay would be a slog and if you don't counterplay its 3ks for days because theres no point in looking for hatch against most killers since open exit gates are an easier escape and no point in not bringing the offering.

This is just bad. Even when the Hatch is closed, the Survivor still has a chance of finding a key or being both clever and lucky with the gates. This is almost a guaranteed escape for someone who just has to hide and watch the team fall.
