A good Clown build
So I want to try a bit of clowning around but I don't know a good build any suggestions the only thing I know is I rarely use the yellow bottles not because I'm like "whaaa their not good why would anyone use them" it's more i find them a little confusing plus I'm not good with my aiming/timing for it to turn from white to yellow so I don't want to waste a bottle because I thought I made a correct hit when I reality I didn't. For perks I have almost all of them everyone main killer perk and I think almost all universal perks with some being in the yellows and greens. Add-ons any good suggestions I don't care about gaining BP so VHS is not my priority.

I really recommend playing around with the yellow bottles a bit. They are way better than people give them credit for. You can use them for a little bit of extra mobility, to get a head start in chase, guarantee yourself hits around some loops and even to lose a bit less time when reloading.
I am not a Clown main but for me STBFL, Lethal Pursuer, BBQ and Play With Your Food have proven quite fun and not a bad build overall. If you are looking for something more meta, then I recommend Deadlock, Pain Res, Jolt (or is it Surge again?) and STBFL. In both cases the Cheap Gin Bottle or Sticky Soda Bottle and either the Flask of Bleach for the first build or the Smelly Inner Soles should work pretty well. You can also try the Kerosene Can (counters WoO and makes any survivor using it hate your guts).
The first build is what I call a hyper aggressive killer build (leaning into Clown's strength as a chasing machine), while the second is targeted towards more of a safety net to fall back on, when you struggle (slowing the game down, so you have time to chase). Personally, I hate playing Clown without STBFL because it forces me to use bottles to counter Shift + W. But I also play him mostly without extra bottles (or any addons for that matter), so I would need to reload more often.

Depends in which MMR you play.
I sometimes play with the impossible heal skill check build - Coulrophobia, Sloppy, Nurses Calling and Distressing.
Can be funny - but maybe not in high MMR.

I toyed around with Arinads build and i like it. No slowdown, but extremly strong in chase. Otzdarva showcased his build not long ago.
Here is his very dedicated guide. I dont have the time and the need to go through it, but if you want to become a clown main, this is definitly helpfull: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1umXUJy-If1bzdN-Mw3LIr12YYzVFkRv10R-6akE1v5o/edit
Kind regards

Clown is super-flexible when it comes to builds - you can get good value from any non-trash perk if that fits your playstyle. But... if you are willing to feed a Cigar Box addiction you don't need info perks, and if you practice that yellow bottle you don't need pallet perks. I'd say an intermediate Clown should find his preferred balance of chase and slowdown, maybe with some utility.
I'm personally a follower 2-4 chase perks school, so I start builds with Coup + Rapid Brutality, then I decide if I want to follow up with STBFL + PWYF, or get creative instead.

I use nowhere to hide, pop, lethal, and one random perk, usually don't use add-ons.

Clown is C tier. I've tried most builds on him and they all suck except Pinkie Finger. Don't use Yellow bottles unless you're in a long loop where Purple bottles aren't enough. You should almost never use Yellow bottles since Purple Bottles are more important and you don't have enough for both. BHVR thought it was as good idea to give Clown only 4 Bottles, which is too few.

My favourite build on him: STBFL + Rapid + Jolt + Pain Res. +1 or 2 bottles and Flask of Bleach. Build that rewards you for fast chases if you good enough and let you be not worried about gen kicking, just pure chase.
