How to counter Leatherface ?
How? I've never escaped a match against him unless he let me go on purpose. Like how do you avoid the chainsaw? I'm at a loss. I can escape Nurse and Blight which everyone says are the best, but not Leatherface. Suggestions?

Just treat him like perma T3 Myers for overall gameplan but with a much weaker window game, but much faster pallet breaks. If he brings Bamboozle (which he should tbh) then try to only run him in areas where you can chain windows so that his chainsaw is much harder to use. When it comes to pallet loops, you either need to throw earlier than you think or need to be supremely confident you can get the stun.

I too get similarly rinsed by a good Leather.
I would guess its all about understanding his timings and always ensuring you're heading to the next window. Being good at TL walls I would assume would be your best defence.

What is a TL wall?

TL walls are a standard tile, one of those tiles with the 2 windows opposing each other. They get their name from what you can see above.
Typically speaking you want to loop clockwise between the 2 windows so you get easy fast vaults. A killer who knows better will try and force you anti-clockwise to make it harder for you.
There are a few guides you an find on YouTube that explore them in depth, but yeah getting good at Window loops is what beats Bubba... I think... I'm not precise enough to say I know from experience, other than knowing Lery's on Bubba is a pain is A xD

TL walls are just okay, decent Bubbas are gonna Bamboozle the T and force a fast triple vault on the L.

Bubba is quite deadly, if you don't know how to counter him. His biggest weakness (obviously) are windows. Especially strong or connected windows like shack and TL walls are quite hard for him to deal with. Which is why you will often see Bubbas use Bamboozle.
Depending on what kind of addons the Bubba uses, you should not give them the pallet side on a loop, unless you know for a fact that they cannot hit you. Sometimes, they will use their extra speed and duration to mind game around a standing pallet and then hit you before you make it to the pallet. Against these kinds of players, it can be a good idea to pre drop or sometimes pallet camp to gain more distance.
I also recommend this video for more information:
And this video for your amusement:
One more thing that can help is to play the killer yourself. He is actually quite fun and has more depth than many give him credit for. So, if you own Bubba, then play him yourself. The survivors in your games and your own experience as him will show you more ways to counter him.

Pallet to pallet’s an easy strat, but I wanted to post this to show how you don’t need to immediately pre drop every pallet on Bubba.
Hopefully this provides some helpful insight on respecting Killers in this game, and not necessarily feeling overwhelmed by or always fearing them in chase; Especially LF and his 1 shot saw.

lery is not bad map for bubba. the thing about lery's is that there a lot of pallets on that map where a m1 killer can easily get hits on but LW with chainsaw has trouble mind-gaming those pallets. so pre-dropping pallet is powerful vs bubba if your healthy. Lery is the type of map for bubba where you need take correct chases and not go into pallet break simulator as it could make you lose.
If you want to know a really bad map for bubba, it would be pale rose. it is one of his worst maps. you have to be extremely skilled as bubba and survivor has to be make mistakes to lose on pale rose. whenever I load into pale rose as LW, I am mildly frightened to play against experienced survivors on that map.

Force him m1 which means use vaults pretty often. His weakness comes from vaults.
And don't waste pallets so much because Bubba is pretty much eating them.

As a decent but not especially good Bubba player myself, I get nervous when Survivors loop close to or weave around the taller objects and structures on the map (rocks, trees, bushes, cars, doorways etc). The bushes on Eyrie are especially annoying.
Unless the Bubba is very, very good / confident in their abilities, they will usually loop around structures a little bit wider because if his chainsaw catches on anything in the environment, it will knock him out of his power. So loop as close to stuff as you can. If you have nothing else, you can even try looping around a rock or a tree to stay out of his field of vision. If you're lucky he'll loop too tightly and maybe you'll force an error.
Then use his tantrum to make more distance or find a safer spot. DO NOT get caught out in the open if you can avoid it and try not to group up with other Survivors. A happy Bubba is one that's downed more than one Survivor at a time with a sweep.

Lots of good tips here already but another is weave between obstacles if caught away from a good vault but don't try and loop around a thin structure like a tree.
A good bubba won't chase you and clip, they'll just 180 on the spot and you'll run face first into the saw.

TL walls and shack. but keep an eye out as other people have said some Bubbas run bamboozle which is very effective. Also don't drop pallets while he is in his chainsaw sweep either drop them while he is charging it or when he is done.
