Good chase-focused builds for Skull Merchant?
Hey all; I know that this killer is a major point of contention to many players - even though she has changed quite substantially as of the last update. Full disclosure that I do not play the "Chess Merchant" setup (if that's even viable any more).
After 6 months, I finally decide to buy her yesterday, after seeing some of the reviews start to improve and her DLC drop in price - and I found that - as a player with hearing impairment - I love the scans / info I can get on the PDA - it actually gives me a chance to chase.
However, I just don't know what build(s) are good to use. I just keep hearing "STBFL" - but have never used STBFL because I am always scared of hitting the wrong person and losing my stacks.
I've just been using Corrupt Intervention, Deadlock, Surge, and Pentimento for both early game and progressive slowdown, and just using my abilities solely for chase and main building area denial. Is this good, or should I be swapping things out and doing things differently before my MMR gets out of poo tier and into better leagues?
Any tips / tricks / build suggestions / etc. would be very appreciated. Especially if I can get any visual cues or something for someone that cannot hear grunts of pain, etc.
Thanks so much <3

Some quick storming ideas for you... some of these builds / perks sometimes use myself.

I've been running a few different chase builds, myself. Most recently I was going with Lethal Pursuer, Blood Favour, Gearhead, and Sloppy Butcher. It's a build with decent synergy between the perks and Skull Merchant's power; Lethal gets you into chases faster and extends the aura reading from Gearhead, your power causes health state losses so it activates Blood Favour and Gearhead, and your power gives you stealth so survivors being injured more/for longer is good for sneaking up on them.
It seemed pretty good to me, though I'm still personally feeling out the options!
