New Killer Idea: The Raven

(Imma just post what I already sent to them)

Hi! I have a killer idea.

Her name is "The Raven" and I haven't quite thought of her main 3-4 perks like every killer has, so maybe y'all can be creative and make one up. I mainly made her, because as a huge fan of the game, I noticed no one ever relies on the crows. Y'all put them into the game with the intention of helping the killer, but not even killers rely on the crows. For each time a survivor sets them off, they don't care. They rather peak around or use their awareness perk. As for the killers, they just prefer to listen out for the generators or use their whisper perk, No one ever relies on the crows. So, I wanted to make a killer that revolves around the crows, so I didn't think the backstory or the perks over. Maybe a few facts learned about crows can give y'all a idea or I could think of one.

She kills with a scythe (I figured y'all wanted each killer to have a different weapon of choice to kill, so she has a scythe). Provided by the Entity, It collects the souls of survivors that The Raven kills. (No, I'm not saying she kills them instantly, just giving backstory to the scythe).

Now, onto the ability. Her ability would be to make the crows more louder and noticeable upon being set off. Like, any survivor that runs near them, they squak louder, have the alert bubble around them. That sounds a bit lame, I know, but if you want to go the extra mile, I was thinking When a survivor sets them off, The killer can go to that crow and a little animation can play showing the killer cautiously reaching her hand out to the crow, but the crow could be defensive, not allowing her, but then allows her to pet it as if she tamed it, all the while a small loading saying "Reveal" pops up (It's kinda like a delay, so the survivor can run, but the delay shouldn't last a long time, just a couple of seconds) and a path of where the survivor went can show for 15 seconds. (Just to add more usefulness to the ability). It's like the crow gives her a vision or a hyperactive sense leading her towards a survivor's way for 15 seconds.

If that sounds too boring, I had this other idea that I thought was unfair, but still useful. Her ability could be where she goes up to a crow sitting somewhere, picks it up and sent them flying in the air to go land on a survivor. When the crow lands on a survivor,- (I thought at first that the crows make loud noises for 15 seconds, alerting the killer), but now I'm thinking, since you added to where The Pig puts bear traps on a survivor's head and they get to take it off and how Freddy can put someone to sleep and a survivor can wake them up, I feel that the survivors should have a choice to handle the birds, so I'm thinking that the crows land on the survivor's shoulder, They have to hold still. A progress bar should pop up, saying like the build up of the crow about to make A lot of noise. The survivor can try shooing the bird away, but it takes time. The survivor can move, but the crows start making minor, noticeable noise and makes the process bar go up a bit quicker and if they break out into a run, the bar goes up quicker. The animation y'all could do for the shooing off could be like the survivor crouching over, looking at the crow and the survivor looking like they are about to grab it, but are having second thoughts and the crow could just sit there, looking at them. You could add skill checks and if you do, the fail skill check can be the crow spreading it's wings wide, face the survivor's head and look agitated at the survivor, while the survivor can flinch, look away from the crow and then they reset back to their normal process mode (The crow calm on their shoulder and the survivor thinking of pushing it). By the way, for each fail they do, the crow makes a noise. It doesn't pop up a bubble, but it can be very noticeable if you are near by. If a survivor sees that a survivor has a crow on their team mate's shoulder, they can help shoo it off. It minorly increases the speed, not tremendously like it does when someone's helping heal another survivor, but kind at the same speed that the generators get done. The helping survivor's animation can be the typical way you'd shoo off a bird: Doing a shoo motion with your arms. Pause for a moment and then continue. (I know that sounds unfair, but the killer should have something to benefit from this ability. Imagine if the crows can be shoo'd off quickly, that would be a waste of a ability, especially when the crow needs a build up bar progress before it breaks out into a noticeable scream. When the crow breaks out into a scream, a alert bubble shows and the survivor then can tremendously shoo them away after 5 seconds. And if they succeed in shooing them away, the animation can be of the survivor swipping their hand at their shoulder, towards the crow's feet, but the crow flies off mid motion. The Raven can set 1 crow off on a survior. If you don't feel like animating extra stuff (Because, I think the crow on their shoulder will phase through a generator when the survivor goes to do a generator, unless y'all can avoid that), I was thinking you could prevent the survivor from doing generators when a crow is on them. If you don't want that, then you could allow them to and have a extra small little animation of the crow hopping onto their back, off their shoulder, so they don't phase through the generator. The Raven only has 4 of these abilities, just like how The Pig only has 4 bear traps, to make it fair.

Or, you could simply have the crows be set off to sit at a generator, but she can only set 5 up on a generator and they alert the killer whenever the crow sees the survivors at the generator and they can be shoo'd off, but it takes time.

Weird, I know, but defiantly different from the other killer's abilities, makes hers unique like theirs. But, those are three ability ideas, you can choose which ever seems more fit.

And whenever the player goes onto her bloodweb and gets that "Death by hands" offering, her animation could be her stabbing the end of the scythe into their back or chest and a glow stream goes up the scythe, like a indication it just collected their soul.

Her scythe is suppose to be the mixture of a skull with it's spine, forming into the Entity's claws. Her outfit is suppose to be a crow inspired outfit. I only sketched her out, so sorry for crappy visuals, but her main color theme is Black and Purple. She also floats a bit. Also, her selection display menu (like whenever you pick her and she pops up on screen) can be a simple animation. Her looking around a bit and twirling her scythe a bit.

I sketched out her design already.

    OH I LIKE THIS IDEA
Personally I like the idea of survivors having to shoo the crows, since I play as a stealth ish killer (pig/shape with M&A) but this perk combined with spies from the shadows would be like
    "OML URBAN EVASION IS KEEEEY"

Nice artwork. Definitely better than I could ever draw.

i do like your idea of having the crows play more of an active part of the game. Now they just serve as an annoyance and “might” alert killers to the presence of a survivor (or vice versa)
