The clip is from the anniversary stream. They say more information would be available later this year and it looks like the time has finally come.

What are your thoughts and predictions? Will you be watching the game awards just for this?

Hades was great and DBD has great lore and characters. It has potential.

Not sure why this vid exists though. No gameplay or real details. Seems like it might be a ways off.

EDIT: The fine folks below have informed me Supergiant games did Hades, this dev, Supermassive did Until Dawn and The Quarry. I accept my mistake in this matter but resent the studio names are synonyms.

Hades was made by Supergiant games not supermassive. Supermassive are narrative game designers. Latest game they made was The Quarry.

I'm still hopeful we are gonna have a fighting game with DBD killers, kinda like Mortal Kombat

Dwight wearing a mech in the roster

Haddie and Mikaela with super powers

Hades was by a different studio. Supermassive is probably best known for Until Dawn, and it’s likely this DbD title is similarly story-focused.

This trailer is reused. It was from the Anniversary stream, I believe. Might even be older than that.

The Quarry was a game of all time. My disappointment is immeasurable.

Well, I'm sure they're doing some sort of Online PVE game where you can team up to fight different types of enemys within DBD lore.

Definitely worth watching, but I'm not sure, will it be worth playing tho, not a big fan of PVE games.

I really hope you are wrong...

I'd take Until Dawn style game, DbD has interesting lore. So this type game could work but online pve game is not my thing. I'll pass if you are right.

Midwinter Entertainment is doing a DBD PvE game.

Supermassive is definitely doing a narrative DBD game

I am so stupidly excited that I think my brain has short circuited

While some are better than others (Stares angrily at "Little Hope"), I adore these games. I've played or own all of the Supermassive Story Games (though I haven't actually played The Devil in Me or House of Ashes, just own them). These games have always scratched a particular itch of mine and I am stupid excited to see what they do with DBD

Cabin in the Woods Spoilers; though you should have seen it by now, it's like...500 years old at this point!

I'm kind of hoping they end up doing a "Cabin in the Woods"-esque horror setup where like...The Entity is kind of a God like in the movie. People are forced into Trials in order to appease The Entity or something of that nature. You play as someone investigating it maybe or play as someone running the trials (or both) or something of that nature.

I suppose it could just be like...one trial or something (they could just add more characters as a four person group wouldn't be a very big group, just have a trial with 8 meddling kids that all are trying to survive) and roll with it.
