Dead by daylight is a wonderful game, full of moral values. But most players and new players simply don't know how to meet the moral of various aspects. So I'm bringing this post to educate our fellow survivors on how to do one of them properly: (I have a lot of spare time for now, and I'm bored)

How to properly bring an offering to the killer:

  1. It doesn't matter what item you want to offer. Killers don't really care what item you will use for a "gift". (Unless preferences, I hate when they bringing me a key)
  2. Never try to put your offering early in the match, or at your first or second chase. Most killers will not accept your gift without you being dead on hook, or early in the match. Try to do that, when you have no other ways to run, while being the last survivor with hatch being closed\or not.
  3. Don't panic. When killer is right under your nose, carefully put your item down, and wait for killer's reaction. (Don't be sure that they will accept it, they can easily deny your offering, if you were mean to them through out the match, "always keep your tail straight")
  4. There are 3 basic ways of how killer will react, 1) They will down you and kill you. 2) They will nod at you, then down you (and then nod) and carry you to the hatch (if possible) or exit gates. 3) They simply nod at you, and will follow you to the hatch\exit gates.

Now you know the basics of one of the moral aspects of this game.
