What is the point of these Myers add-ons?

I have never used these because I don't understand them.

If Myers is stalking a Survivor, the Survivor is already glowing white and in your line of sight.

So, why would I need their aura revealed?

How would I even see the aura? I do my stalking while they're on generators so they are out in the open.

    I'm gonna be brutally honest here. They are useless.

    Just like the stalking movement speed addons.

    Myers is not the worst in terms of addons. He has probably the strongest addon in the game. But then he also has totally useless and awful addons. I'd be interested in how much these addons are being used statistically.

    It allows you to track a survivor in a chase when they are constantly breaking line of sight. I think Mirror Shard is good.

    Glass fragment is bad though because it's EW1 only. At absolute maximum you get 5 uses out of it for a 3 second aura reveal. (this is assuming you perfectly stalk a survivor for 1 second, 5 times in evil within 1)

    Reflective fragment is only worse than mirror shard and they don't stack.

    It's essentially on demand I'm All Ears. You stalk for a second while chasing at a loop to get wallhacks and beat the mindgames.

    It's not a particularly strong effect in comparison to other perks and add ons, but it has a use.

    Mirror Shard is decent. It helps in situations where you stalk a survivor and then they go behind a wall, then you still know where they are for a bit afterwards.

    Reflective Fragment is just a worse version of that, and Glass Fragment is useless unless you’re also using Scratched Mirror, since it’s EW1 only.

    myer's add-on need rework. i had good idea a long time ago to rework m/s stalking and aura add-on but i do not precisely remember the add-on idea's. the other add-on that i think need rework/buff are purple duration Lock of hair and yellow duration add-on for Myer's. the drawbacks are too severe and upside is not worth it. Myer's already has green duration add-on and that add-on is sufficient for longer EV3 to not need other 2.

    If you stalk them as they round a corner into a jungle gym you get some aura reading so you'll know if they keep running or double back. It's like a vanity mirror that lets you keep the ability to go Tier 3. Honestly not that great but not completely useless
