3rd way of escaping trial
I heard awhile back that there is a 3rd way of escaping a trial that no one has found yet. Besides powering the gates and the hatch does anyone have any theories on what it is? Or is it just some false urban legend.

Hackers have opened up the game's code, if there was a 3rd way it would be known.

Seriously though, this 3rd way to escape was just a rumor. If there was a way, hackers would have found it.

Survivors already get a more than fair opportunity to escape the trial, via the killer hated hatch.

I imagine that’s the best way to escape, and the most rewarding. I salute those who were skilled enough to pull it off.

Cheating. Ever had these people that just left the trial out of nowhere?
That's the 3rd way. It's also the direct way towards a ban.

I remember way back when, people discovered a bug with Hag traps with that one add-on that gave them collission, that landing on top of them shot you into the sky.
At some point during their testing, the survivor just disappeared. Shot way too high up to tell if they were even falling, they didn’t quite realise the model had simply vanished.
In the post-game tally screen, the survivor was marked as escaped, even though the player was still in-game.

I've always wondered if that had anything to do with that map's statues that always turn to look at you when you turn your camera away.
I forgot this was a thing until the Halloween event where those very same statues appeared in the Void, almost as if hinting there was more to them we didn't know about.
Could the Void be tied to the 3rd way of escaping the trial? Lore-wise it definitely sound like it could be...
