Franklin's Demise

I personally don't like being affected by Franklin's Demise.

I've had experiences playing with friends over Discord. As soon as the first hit happens, everyone becomes aware of the perk. For a lone survivor, it feels quite one-sided. Yes, I understand the risks involved. We all know the killer is out there, but what I don't like is how it feels "biased". If I decide to bring my red/purple item into the game, it gets annihilated just like everything else. While perks like lightborn seem adequate, Franklin's Demise doesn't, at least not until it has a symmetrical effect on the killer as well. If it deprives me of my item, maybe the killer should lose his/hers too?

Or perhaps just remove/change this perk?

I just being tool boxes and use them ASAP. If it gets dropped it's used already, I bring the yellow ones so it's like meh who cares.

Sometimes I'll bring med kit with a shot on my p100s, if it's dropped you can still sometimes get it back and use it.

If it really bothers ya, there is built to last to counter it :)
