Yellow generator auras
Why do they reuse aura colors? Currently SOME generator auras are being shown in yellow due to the event, which would be fine if it wasn't a cause of overlap. Just tossed together a quick build with ruin+surveillance being my main tracking on a Wraith I'm lvling. Load into the match to find every generator aura is yellow... kinda hard to tell which is yellow due to surveillance and what's yellow because that's the normal color.
So... Maybe next year pick Green?

Would be nice if they could just let players choose their own colors for gens and auras. I don’t even see the logic of changing the aura colors of gens for events to yellow.

I've had games where some auras are red, and some are like a yellow/orange colour... and I never knew why... it's event gens huh? Yeah blue would qlso be fine, like the 7th anniversary blue?
Most of the time, an aura is an aura, but I've had confusion from it with Surveillance or Eruption where I struggle to notice the difference in the heat of moment.
I've also had weird interactions where I've been running Eruption and the gen I've hit with Eruption stays yellow after it pops... I suspect this is Calm Spirit preventing the Regression and thus preventing the aura removal... but I always forget to confirm either mid game or at the end.
Regardless... gen aura colours confuse me in general. I'd like a better distinction between effects, e.g. Eruption, Discordance and Surveillance.
Something like:
- Red for a normal gen.
- White for a blocked gen. (Deadlock/Dead Man's/Corrupt)
- Orange for a trapped Gen (Eruption/Call of Brine/Surveillance not triggered).
- Yellow for a revealed gen (Discordance/Surveillance triggered)
