Going against the same people more and more

Not sure if it is just me but over the past month I've recognized more and more people that I get matched with whether as survivor or killer. Im assuming this is because mmr got a lot stricter? Is this happening to other people

I see alot of familiar people in my lobbies as well. I assume it's Because my mmr has settled into a certain area

Not that I don't think MMR has it's benefits but man it is soul draining when you face the same people over and over considering we all know how we are going to play

I recognised a number of names / steam profiles as well -- and there was an awkward encounter or two where the killer was a good acquaintance and they were technically very set on the 4k (get the sacrifice 4 survs in one match for example) and then it got awkward one way or the other.

Though, I figured it was more down to the holidays and the player pool being somewhat smaller. - Because while I have been seeing the same people, it was also a wild experience; both looking at hours (anything from 200 to 8k hours) and at skill; from the dreaded seal-team-and/or-comp-duo-that-decides-to-shenanigan-in-pubs to what-is-that-skillcheck-people-keep-talking-about on surv side and all-the-hugtechs-blight to wait-how-does-M2-work-Wraith
