yellow generators at start of match?

Playing killer lately, I've noticed that some generators are yellow at the start of the match. Sometimes it's one, sometimes it's as many as 3. They stay yellow for the whole match. What does that yellow aura mean? Is it a bug? I don't think it indicates that they're event generators, because all of the generators are event generators, right?

    I had a game where I tried using surveillance, just to find ALL the gens to be yellow. Kinda waiting for the event to end before using it again.
