Has anyone encountered more "Knock-Out" games lately?
I've had four games this week where the killer will slug everyone with knock out, do the humping thing and then bleed everybody out. I feel like this perk was soooo rare for such a long time that the first time I ran into it again recently I had completely forgotten about it. It's definitely not very fun to go up against and I'm considering unbreakable as I think that's the only "counter" but if this isn't going to become more regulated then I don't want to use a perk slot for it. So is this just a weird temporary thing or has some popular creator made a knock-out build that is gaining traction right now?

Yes
I seriously wish they’d just allow us to put ourselves on a hook to suicide lol

I haven't had a Knockout game in a while, thankfully.
They should just rework that perk, it's extremely obnoxious when used to its full potential, but for the other 99% of killer players it serves no purpose so you almost never see it.

Are people figuring out you can break the game by running Knock Out, Sloppy Butcher and never hook anyone?
Its almost impossible to win a game like this, as survivor
Solo Q, I dare to say its impossible, at least 3 will die
With a 4-man SWF, only if they are really pro and can loop the killer for minutes

Killer: "It seems like it's really easy for you guys to fly through the gens, by the time I got one hook, you were already 60% done with your objective."
Survivors: "Just pressure better."
Killer: *Puts on Knockout and makes survivors have to stop doing gens and search for downed teammates*
Survivors: "NOT LIKE THAT!!"

Did you miss the part where the killer in question was BMing people and forcing everyone to bleed out for 4 minutes, or are you just trying to make everything an "us vs them"?

Oh no :( I hope I don't run into this more. I understand that killers struggle with SWF and that it's regarded as unfair so I don't play it. But Solo lately for me has been a complete slaughter. Like 27 losses in a row 3k and up slaughter. I don't want to contribute to unbalanced gameplay by going in as SWF but I also would love to play the game a little more and not die at 3 gens every time.

I'm sorry if that's the impression this post gave off. To clarify each of these games has happened at the start from 5 gens, it's not as if they simply weren't getting any hooks and defaulted to this. We never got farther than 2 complete gens in any of the games. And they wouldn't ever hook anyone, they would just slug and hump and wait. The point of my post was just to ask if this is becoming a more common occurance for anyone else or if it's just bad luck for me.

The humping/bm part is lame af, but fighting the gen pressure with knockdowns + hooking selectively is one of the best ways to stop the rush. There is no period where you can wait and see what sort of survivors you have or give them the benefit of the doubt; If they choose to focus the objective and go full speed from the start, then the killer must focus on stopping them ASAP, otherwise they'll be done in minutes with plenty of pallets left.
Time to chase down and hook is long, while time to complete gens is relatively short. If the killer isn't incapacitating multiple survivors at once, then they're not pressuring to the greatest extent that they could.
I mean what's better for the killer's pressure: Downing two with knockout, hooking one and going for a third, downing everybody if possible, or just downing and hooking one at a time?
