Is there any chance the upcoming Pig tweak won't be a nerf?

In the updated roadmap, Pig is one of the killers (along with hag, huntress, demo, clown and doctor) who is scheculed to receive tweaks in the March-April stage.

I know "nerf Pig" is a meme at this point, but could she conceivably be nerfed again? I'm betting against a straight up nerf, but (like Sadako) I can't shake the feeling she will get tiny buffs that are overcompensated for by massively nerfing the other aspects of her kit (for example, a slight improvement to stealth speed coupled with active hats deactivating after the last gen goes off).

Am I wrong? Talk me off the ledge...

    im here from the future..

    shes def getting nerfed. a lot of people don't like playing against pig, mainly because of the way her traps work and how scummy the pig player can turn the traps into. if she gets changes, i REALLY hope its some sort of rework. what kind of rework? a rework to her traps while buffing her stealth and crouch. her crouch is SO SLOW and ghost face's crouch is like, 1000x better than pig could ever dream of. she needs a reduction in the duration of her terror radius fade-out while going into crouch, increase the speed of crouch to maybe 100% or 105% base movement speed (4.0m/s or 4.2), and reduce the time it takes to enter crouch.

    no idea how traps could be reworked, but it should be better for both sides.

    The meme’s so pervasive that they specifically addressed that the upcoming changes are not a nerf.

    Also, they won’t be reworks either — just “number tweaks.” The same thing about number tweaks goes for every other killer grouped with her.

    During the livestream they said one of the goals was to ”alleviate pain points,” which suggests improvements to their usability and/or effectiveness.

    They’ve stated before that it won’t be a nerf and that none of the killer changes that patch will be as big as the Onryo or Hillbilly reworks.

    If I have to guess, they will make the progress on boxes not get lost when interrupted to prevent the scream builds, change the start up time and maybe the distance of the ambush to at least try to make it viable, and maybe a little more speed while crouching.

    On the other hand, nerf The Pig. Nerfing The Pig would solve every problem with the game right now.

    Of course but it won't be called a nerf. You'll be able to solve traps while looking at the aura from across the map, every time you're downed with a trap it adds 30 seconds. Every time a gen gets done your timer increases by 10 seconds and Pig can no longer see aura boxes

    But to compensate you'll get 2% faster crouch speed and 2% faster ambush attack speed there's your buff

    They will probably make it so that screaming no longer removed your progress on Jigsaw Boxes.

    It would be nice if Pig got some of her nerfs reverted, especially her TR, but I don't think it will happen.

    Even setting aside that they already said it isn't a nerf in the first stream that showed off a roadmap, the Pig has been buffed in some way almost as many times in a row as she was nerfed, and those nerfs happened years ago.

    It's time to let go of the "nerf Pig" nonsense, or at least acknowledge that any comedy that phrase has comes from the fact that it hasn't happened for ages.

    Imo they should make her slowdown less cringe and make her dash viable at even a single tile.
