Console players optimization patch

i thought the optimization patch was suppose to come out in dec? Anyone know what’s going on with that?

The devs pulled a bait and switch and said something about an optimization "pass", not "patch".

It was patched, sort of.

Improvements have been noticed by players using PS 4 Pro and XBox One X. Micro-freezes when playing the killer are amost gone for them now. Unfortunately the Unreal engine upgrade has had a detrimental effect on standard PS4 and XBox One.

I beleive performance optimisations are now going to be small incremental improvements.

I use S and get less fps drops, just really bad quality changes
