You can't be Freddy but you can be Myers
This is annoying. You can literally make Survivors glow in the dark as Myers with stalk but you can't be Freddy? Next time a modifier comes, work on it until everyone is able to play.

tbh i think the main issue with freddy would be the dream world, not the glow in the dark survivors
not defending this, not sharing my thoughts on the modifier either, but i dont think the glowing survivors were the issue

Have you played Mikey in this mode? You got to get close to them to pick them up with your stalk. Same for Ghostface.
Freddy's issue is his bright dream world totally clashes with this mode. Survivors would benefit from being asleep. Do you want to be a perkless Freddy who survivors can see coming a mile away?

Yeah, it is awful that we don't get to play our main in this modifier.

Yeah I don't think the bright survivors was the issue here.
It's probably got to do with Freddy's dream world using filters and shaders of its own, which clash with the ones Lights Out uses. Wouldn't be too surprised if Freddy straight up crashed the game, or made literally everything a strobe hazard.

I have now played Myers twice. I don't even need to see the Survivors to level up stalk. Keep in mind, I'm on Switch though. I just was stunned that a Killer was banned from the event. At least a warning would have been appreciated so Freddy players didn't get their hopes up. It is what it is though š¤·

It's because the Dream world wasn't working properly with the event stuff.

The last two freddy mains are livid right now.

We are on fire š„

Dev stated it was issues with the dream world mechanic.

I'm pretty sure that's not true. I played him once and I could only stalk people that were clearly visible. Even when they were just barely beginning to fade into the fog, I could not stalk them anymore.
Regardless, this is still terrible. They knew of this problem because it had occured before but they couldn't fix it? That seems unlikely. Then again, this whole thing is obviously not well thought out, so it's not surprising that this wasn't fixed either.

I wouldn't lie to you @Xernoton if you are referring to me as Myers.
I can (On Nintendo Switch) stalk near a generator and my meter goes up without them even glowing white.
Perhaps it is indeed because the Switch brightness is so dark that if I were in the same position on another platform they would be visible.
Try it in a match you don't care to win. If you hear repairs, stay a bit back and stalk. Watch your meter as well as your Deviousness Stalk points in the upper-right corner of the screen.
I can't record video on Switch. I could take a still screenshot but that probably wouldn't prove anything.

Iām just here to pay my condolences to your main for this mode.

Same with Myers.

Appreciated. Thank you for your Condolences š

Then that is definitely weird. I'll try him again later and see if that actually works the same on pc (I don't see why it wouldn't tbh) but last time it absolutely did not work.
I'm not sure whether or not this should work because it ends up either being an advantage for Myers or a huge disadvantage because he can barely stalk at all.

You can make them glow in the dark... for the fraction of a second they're within the circle of vision. Other than that, you can stalk from a distance and you only know it's working because your bar fills up and you move slowly.

Exactly. I only got close enough to light them up while in chase.
