Background Player is Actually So Goated on Sabo Builds
Got a little curious and tried it out a few times tonight. Overall, despite neither Sabo Builds nor Background Player builds being the best options out of the lot, I feel like they compliment each other wayyyyy more than a lot of people give it credit for. It can very often deny a killer a hook immediately, which can easily screw them over at the right moments at stop you from getting hit on the hook.
I only really see people use this perk with flashlights, are there any other believers out there?

i also use saboteur so they can't bait the hook and walk to the next one as easily. Also ran into a few squads who f me up using pretty much the same stuff. Alex toolbox can be down right as scary as ftp/buckle up.

I could never do this to a fellow killer main T_T the sabo tome challenges were among the most painful to do for me, but what ya gotta do.
But for real, Sabos are one of my most hated aspects of the game. I know that it's not easy to pull off, but getting downs with a killer can be already be pretty tough against a good survivor, then being bereft of that hook by any means is rubbing pounds of salt into the wound.
Touching my hooks is a surefire way to incite me ire and get tunneled hard, even if it means throwing.

Background Player is a goofy perk with how overtuned it is... like as annoying as it is sometimes I genuinely laugh watching how stupid it looks to see a Steve's butt fly past me at mach 5, poop a flashbang and wind up somewhere in Narnia 🤣

I don't like seeing my hooks go down either. I do try to not get too tilted when I happens, especially when there's rift stuff to encourage those plays. Not the best feeling though, so I get it.
