Wicked shouldn't work in endgame

At least it's primary effect. Now, I know many people will think this is ridiculous and I could understand why, at first at least, but the way swf could make this perk unfun is not that hard too see. If a survivor is in chase and the last gen pops, they could easily get downed near basement, and if they are with a sabo squad, they can sabo nearby hooks, either making you forced to hook in basement, or to slug the survivor as to not give them a free unhook.

The aura read would be fine in endgame as well, but the free unhook in basement should be disabled in endgame.

Deliverance requires you to both be on your first hook and to already have unhooked someone else to activate and leaves you broken after you use it. It has enough conditions that it's fine for it to work in endgame as well.

Wicked on the other hand, if it's your first hook and you go down near basement you get too unhook for free. That's why it should be disabled in endgame (at least the unhook part, aura read is fine to work in endgame as well)

I mean, you will probably camp the basement if you want that kill and when you see them unhook, it's not that hard to bodyblock them for 10 seconds, so they won't get out of basement anyway.

I don't really see an issue with it.

You can simply not hook in the basement if you are worried about it.

This perk isn't blantantly broken, so why should it get nerfed before it's even been released? Because hypothetically it might be unfun to go against in certain scenarios?

I would agree that it won't be super broken, but it's very easy to set up a situation where it can often be very unfun to go against. I guess after it's live for a few weeks we'll see how annoying the perk really will/won't be

Anything that causes any type of inconvenience to the other side could be considered unfun. I find NOED very unfun, but it's just part of the game. If it doesn't have the potential to be unfun for the other side then it's probably useless.

Like you said, might as well just wait till it releases and then see how often it cause you problems.

I honestly am not super stoked when I see Noed as survivor either, but often if at least 3 survivors are alive, a lot of the time you can look around and cleanse it (it shows its aura in a progressively larger radius). You can also outright prevent it by cleansing all dull totems.

With Wicked I can see someone purposefully getting hooked in the basement, and waiting for people to open the gates (or 99 them) and come take protection hits while they unhook themselves. Most of the time with even a semi-organized swf and basekit bt they are quite likely escaping successfully.

So while both things aren't fun, I just believe this can potentially reach higher level of unfunnes. But yeah, hope I'm wrong when the perk hits live.
