I personally do. Now and days you can’t run fun builds and actually win against good survivors. I don’t see what’s wrong with rewarding the killer for completing their objective.

    I don't like the ideia of making perks basekit but if l have to pick one for both slides It would be kindred and lethal pursuer but they already have the kick action.

    I don't expect to win if I'm running fun builds instead of strong ones. That's just common sense. If you could win with fun builds then you'd absolutely steamroll with strong ones.

    What exactly do you mean? Killers DO have basekit regression in the form of the break action. I assume that's not satisfying, so what exactly is your proposal for making basekit regression stronger without making regression perks unfair?

    Kicking a gen is the killer’s objective or is it to hook and kill the survivor?

    basekit gen regression will not be necessary. I don't like the idea of simply replacing the mechanics of a game with a base kit. Instead, it's better to reward appropriate behavior.

    It seems like a lot of inappropriate behavior can be seen with adjustments to this game...

    Yes I would be down with that so long as they are prevented from stacking full 4 gen control builds.

    However ultimately I don't think this is the ideal solution, doing gens is the most boring part of DBD and I would prefer to see survivors have another objective and somehow more emphasis on chases

    Honestly the base kick should be 10% minimum seeing as how it can only be kicked 8 times and that might make survivors think twice about hopping right back on since it could get kicked again. Missing a skilllcheck is 10 and so should a kick since you give up chase pressure to kick it.

    Pretty much this. I play with mostly relaxed dumb builds with no slowdown and range from 0k to 4ks. It's natural to lose, natural to win, natural to feel satisfied with the amount of hooks I've gotten. I don't expect to win or lose, but I expect to have fun.

    If I ever feel like aiming to win for whatever reason I'll slap a slowdown perk or two and tracking perks for the other slots.

    I dunno, I feel killers typically speaking are in a pretty good spot right now.

    Playing without some form of gen regression is gonna be a rougher ride sure, but there are several good options to pick from that can just slot in a build and be all the regression you need.

    Survivors objective is to escape the trial, so I guess they should just get basekit self-heals then?

    Kicking gens is one of the ways to make sure a killer has more time to fulfill his objective. Just like Survivors healing gives them a better chance at escaping.

    Guess the problem would be killers who use 3-4 gen perks already.

    Imo BHVR needs to stop with all that basekit nonsense, on both sides!

    You can win against good survivors using no perks so I if you can't win using alternative non meta or fun perks it's probably a skill issue.

    Hard nerfing all regression perks and giving big regression basekit would be nice. You'd get to play against more than just Corrupt, Pain Res, Pop, Noed
