After seeing all the DS rework suggestions...

Here's mine lol (from survivor main here) 

Maybe...just an idea here lol... Whoever brings in DS is in "exposed status" effect for 1st hit only to balance the one time use of DS. Survivor will still have to hit skill check to make use of perk.

If said survivor miss skill check after 1st hit, the DS perk is dead for rest of game. Same applies to all other survivors who brings in DS. 

To balance: killer cannot detect/read your aura, marks, blood, and/or injured sounds for 3/4/5 seconds after stun from DS use. (Time can be debated or decided by Devs for each tier).

I believe this would (in theory) make some DS survivors think long and hard about running the killer so early on in game to purposely waste killer's time, chase, loop, etc while all other survivors gen rush said killer. It would be a RISK vs. benefit to use the perk versus using as a crutch or possible toxic tactic? 

The killer should be FEARED not played with!! LOL

    What would be the point of escaping the killer's grasp if you get downed more with one hit? With even the risk of only getting the downside, also?
