Team mates still giving up even when we are winning
Several games the killer has like 1 or 2 hooks there is 1 gen left someone will go on first hook an instantly give up I don't understand it

I swear the frequency went up when the new event dropped...

I don't really see this that frequently. Maybe 1/10 times when someone gives up. It's usually games that are lost causes in my experience.

I think something like this, even without an event going on, very much depends on MMR and time of day and region as well.

Agreed. Not to say I never see it, but definitely don't see it in the same frequency as many others on here seem to.
Half the time those people DC the bot is more useful than they were anyways lol

Really wish they would remove hook suiciding outside of guaranteed escapes. Just allow people to disconnect without penalty while on hook or being slugged. Bot replaces them game is less ruined.

I've seen that happen when using a Killer I farm with and have no intention of killing anyone. There are a lot of players that just give up quickly.

Having a bot on your team is gg just force them to eat the penalty and not play the game. If you're going to baby rage quit you can eat the penalty and go play a different game for a while.

Someone else used the god pallet and they went down because of it.

I don't ever see that happening in my matches. It's always when 1) some teammates gets downed 10 seconds after first chase starts, 2) someone gets farmed off the hook right in front of killer, or 3) Skull Merchant

Bots actually try to win and honestly for 70% of the players base they play better. I personally like when someone leaves and a bot replaces them because I know exactly what to expect, which is not true of many players who I have no idea what they are doing. They aren’t doing tome challenges and yes they cheat in a variety of ways but a decent killer can exploit their flaws pretty easy.
For me it’d take a lot to get me to rage quit. I’ve never done it. I want my bloodpoints. However there are times I admit I would under those conditions.

Probably because they are trying to do a specific challenge, and they reached the point in the game where it is not possible. For example, maybe the challenge is like "finish 2 gens in 1 game" but they didn't get to finish any gens and now there is 1 left, so from their eyes, if they are trying to complete the challenge, it is faster for them to just die and go to the next game because finishing those 2 gens is far easier at the start of the match than it is at the end of the match.
This is just one example, but generally i find the week right after a tome level comes out that everyone is trying to complete the challenges so its just a total ######### show.

I kinda gave up playing survivor, not so much because of sweaty killers, but because my team always suicide on first hook. It's really demoralizing seeing this, your gen is blocked, the killer is coming to pop it... it's like a flowchart, really. When i'm playing with my friends, at least i know they won't do this.

Oh well if its 1 gen then you still have plenty of time to win just play and go next. If they don't want to play then they don't have to play.

I watched streams of a really skilled Survivor player leaving matches on first hook spitefully due to SoloQ players healing.
It really is up to the emotion of the player.
Often, people’s personalities dictate the outcome of matches.
Tho, it’s kinda sad watching ppl bitterly throw matches.

I assume it's because it is not fun to be disabled for any amount of time.
