    1. Killers should not earn less than survivors, freaking survtriarchy oppressing us with their wage gap!

    1. All other issues you listed are lag related as Killers are the hosts and there is no confirmed lagswitch on console yet, only a lot of confirmed cases of players sucking and leeching off McD's wifi.

Dedicated servers come in summer, till then we have to live with it.

Lagswitch does indeed happen on console, both Xbox and PS. I've experienced it in DBD before. Not that frequent on Xbox at least because MS will ban you for it, but it does happen. The reason you don't hear about it much is because it can only happen in p2p games, and a lot of Xbox games nowadays have dedicated servers.

Maybe, and if it does i hope they get banned for it, however i never seen one myself and some of footage i have seen on public reports were laggy in general.

Plus they are on borrowed time anyway.

The Killer receive more Blood Points because:

    1. They are in the game the longest

    2. Survivor BP rewards for the Survival and Objective BP categories suck

The issue of inaccurate hits mostly stems from lag. Dead by Daylight is on peer to peer connection, not dedicated servers. So when someone has bad ping, it’s really noticeable.

Other than that, the Killer’s swing hit is a cone, not a traditional hit box. Otherwise things like 360s and dips in performance would make it arguably unplayable.

I have played Dead by Daylight for 3 months now. Killers seem to have an advantage over the survivors. First thing is the killers get a 7 to 10 thousand blood point bonus while the survivor only gets an average of 15 to 20 thousand blood points per match. Second the killers seem to be able to hit the survivor through a window when they fast vaulted and are 5 feet away. Third there are lag switchers on console that need to be found and removed from the game, I have encountered this issue more than 10 times. Final issue is the killers hit boxes are ridiculously huge, when a survivor is to the right of a killer and they swing left they magically cause damage, also there isn't a game where I do not see this issue. I simply tried to talk to DBD representatives, but they tell me to put my words on these discussions, and now I am hoping there is a big fix.

Did you even read what you wrote?

Killers have to keep track of 7 generators, 4 survivors (each requiring 3 hook stages to die), and possiby hex totems to defend, in order to achieve their objective. Survivors have the numerical advantage and can split 5 objectives between 4 players. It's only logical that killers score more points every match, otherwise, less people would be drawn to play the most demanding role in the game. Playing survivor allows me to sip on a beer and lay back while playing, and still escape/pip. Playing killer is a whole different affair.

Hits through windows and short fences make sense, think about it, there's no obstacle between the killer's weapon and the survivor. You can dodge the hit by crouching, by the way.

Killers' bigger hitboxes work 100% AGAINST them, in issues like looping around objects and making sharp turns. Learn to take advantage of that fact. Smaller killer hitboxes would mean the end to the Looping META. As much as I'd like to see that (I'm a killer main), I'm certain it will never happen.

I second what user @ChesterTheMolester said about lag switching.

For the points view, the survivors has to run from the killer trying to avoid those 3 hook, look for totems to get rid of perks such as thrill of the hunt, NOED, and others, build gens without getting caught by the killer, heal other survivors, sabotage hooks to save others as well. So therefore the killer and the survivor have equal jobs, and the surviror need extra points for what they are doing. Yes they do split it up the job "sometimes", but sometimes there is only one person doing everything while others hide, and still nothing is given to that one survivor is worth more than just 15 thousand points.

The only difference is you only have to do those tasks while the killer has to prevent those tasks for 4 players

Killer takes a lot more effort than survivor, I think it's fine that they earn more BP.

Lag switching, yes that's wrong, I don't think anyone approves of it. Thankfully it'll be a thing of the past when dedicated servers come in the summer.

As for hitboxes, with windows included. The Hitboxes are far from perfect. Often I see it going both ways, a survivor is right up on the killer and they swing and nothing happens and then I see a huntress hit a survivor trough the corner of a wall. so i don't know what to tell you there

survivors are forced to do 5 gens, the killers are forced to go through loops, flashlight saves, pallets, etc, killers deserve the bp, you don't like it run the equivalent of bbq, we are gonna farm forever, I agree with you btw

I just played 5 games today, and killers seem to have a lunge that longer than a football field. Also the killers seem to hit you when you vault and they are more than 5 meter sticks away from you. This game is all kinds of messed up.

Its called lag, get a better ISP, or check your ping rate while in the lobby. If its red, leave.

You can call this whatever you want. I have good WiFi, and the killers are mostly green ping. So say whatever you please.

WiFi, and yet you expect a stable connection

You never experienced it because almost no one does it. I have over 1500 hours in the game on Xbox and have only been lagswitched by 1 player that I can confirm (maybe 1 or 2 others I can't). But it can be done. This player in particular I played against multiple times, and he lagswitched against both me and my friend. If you use a FL on him, he starts to chase you and the game suddenly starts to lag really hard. Killer will be running into a wall while you get hit and go down. Then suddenly you are either being carried to a hook or on a hook. Immediately after the lag completely goes away. This happened CONSISTENTLY against this player, there is no way it's just normal lag.

People tend to think lag switching or modding is impossible in console online games. This is 100% false, it's just that it's far more rare on consoles because the chance of getting banned is very very high, and most games used dedicated servers now making it impossible to mod/lagswitch. Case and point here is a video I recorded of Gears 2 on Xbox 360 where the other team modded the game to give themselves super speed, 100k ammo, and insta-down/insta-gib weapons:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct02OeFbh6I

Lagswitch was also a common thing in Gears 2. However neither of these things happen in the game anymore because dedicated servers make them impossible.

you are playing for 3 months, omg you have amazing game knowledge, i am playing this game since 1.0.0 and i know what an issue is, you are simple a low rank rank who can't play properly, survivors when playing right can get lots of points, yes i am a killer main, but i know how survivor work, and i played survivor long enough to know how to make points, and the ammount of points you make is extremely dependent of the killer skills, if you get 13K per game it is simply because you either only worked on gens or you didnt got chased or your didn't healed or unhooked, survivors can get point as much as killers can, if survivors gen rush, don't expect many points,

if you want more points, make longer chases, stun if possible, juke, unhook and work wiht toher survivors to heal and repair.

want to avoid windows hits? just keep a better distance if you plan to vault a window and time it better and use it at the right time, you don'T know the game enough to know the right plays and you do mistakes, yes you can be hit on the other side of the window it's because there's still a little hitbox that you can be hit from, be aware of that, and if you get it from 1 meter from it, well it's your ping.

and last thing, yes sometimes i hit on one side but move my camera so quickly that i end up hitting someone i shouldn't have hit, deal with it, it happens, it's not a broken thing, it's just a thing.

learn the ######### game and play for more than 3 tiny months, you are still a noob, don'T complain, you are the kind of people that makes killer nerfed and buff survivors, keep it as it is now, it's good, stop complaining.
