OMG I almost forgot this actually existed in game.

A killer complained about Hit-validation that it was unfair that my character screamed after dropping the pallet and that the hit wasn't registered and I suddenly started remembering a not very good but funny memory.
If I remember correctly, in the past survivors used to teleport to the other side of the pallet making the loops always safe. You were looping the killer normally, he would lunge and the survivor would press the button and be immediately pulled to the other side of the pallet without having gotten there.
LOL this was so broken and i almost forgot entirely. All the more reason for today's killer players to see what a broken era it was.

on the flipside i've had plenty of games where i knocked down a survivor while getting stunned, pallet stuns can be Real inconsistent

Pallet Vacuums were truly an experience, especially mixed in with double pallets being everywhere, fillers (and just loops in general) being longer, and exhaustion recovering while running. All while original DS, DH, OoO and others being in the game.
Im convinced if the game went back to pre 2.0.0 for just a day, half the playerbase would be found dead.

But not the both of us, that is for sure.
pre-2.0.0 means Old Freddy, and I will go through a thousand pallets if it means having my favorite killer back.

Oh yeah, and part of me really wants to experience that old Trapper arming animation. It was really long, but it felt as if there was a lot more weight behind to the trap.
Yknow devs instead of Padded Jaws you could just reuse that old Trap setting animation.. wink

Don't see a reason not to. That animation was pretty cool, even if it was a bit long.
I know, my friend, that we don't always agree on what should / shouldn't be brought back to the game, but I like these discussions we have about the Old DBD.
At the end of the day we're both players who were here for a vastly different game :)
