Surplus of trinkets this time?
Upon purchasing the last few Blood Moon event rewards, I noticed that there are still some challenges left, worth a total of 250 trinkets. During previous events that had a reward system like this, the amount of trinkets you could earn through challenges was exactly the same as the amount needed to purchase all rewards. Unlocking all rewards left you with 0 trinkets by the end of the event.
I am guessing this time it's intended for there to be more? So that you don't necessarily have to do every challenge to still be able to get all the goodies? If so, that would be a welcome change! I am definitely going to collect the remaining ones and cash them in this Sunday :).
Also, there was a third charm in the event promo banner. I wonder where that one went ...

I noticed that as well. The leftovers are going to be converted to BP after the event so I'm guessing it's there to give a little extra BP after the event ends. Assuming it's more then a 1:1 ratio of course.
