So honest question about cheaters and holding the game hostage.

So let's say I run into a person cheating who is prolonging the game by preventing gens from being completed and making sure survivors cannot be hooked through flashlight saves. Let's say I dc and run into a similar situation? Should I just AFK at that point or eat the DC penalty.

I've DC'd twice already due to this situation and I notice this week there's a lot of players I've ran into cheating very blatantly like teleporting / speedhacking / flying through walls.

I get the whole "DO NOT DISCUSS CHEATS" which I'm not necessarily doing - It's more so should I just afk it out or DC because my time to play during the day is limited and this is kind of pissing me off when I have no solution other than DC or waste like 15-30 minutes in a game like this. Anyone else have any similar situations or am I alone on this getting multiple cheaters in a row?

    I don’t condone a dc, this one is a grey area though.

    Get some recording software, record the game and the tab out and do something else.

    I had a cheater sit in game for almost 30 mins once. I made a cup o tea and watched a movie instead. Yeah it sucks.

    Well I suppose it is as black and white as I see it but jfc it's painful having my only bit of freetime essentially stolen. Either I can't play for the time I run into these rare situations or I dc and do something else.

    Normally this doesn't happen but during the event I've seen so many people just blatantly cheating it gets tiring having to record each game and upload it.
