What's with you and giving killers haste?
Everything has haste now and that's the bandaid you slap on everything to make changes.
Ah yes let's give Huntress, a long ranged killer with little cooldown on a 2 hit down, haste to catch up to the survivor they hit so chases can end instantly.
No one thought maybe to put this in the ptb first before changing it? After over buffing huntress ALREADY you make her now impossible to go against. Great. Thanks.

I agree with the sentiment that slapping Haste buffs on everything lately has felt like lazy game design.
But 113% speed Huntress isn't gonna kill you that hard.

3% haste for 5 seconds is literally nothing lol. You spend almost 2 seconds recovering from the throw and no one is gonna use both add ons together because Shiny Pin/ GC is better. I can’t believe a single person finds these problematic. They aren’t strong enough tbh, Yew Seed used to hinder survivors for 30 seconds, Coarse stone slowed gen repair speeds for 60 seconds.

Played 2 games against killer running them game was literally over before at 4 and 5 gens. The already good buffs to huntress are now way more noticable.

You'll be surprised. I'd say trust me but you'll see just how bad it is trying to loop on anything at all now.

I can tell you for a fact those add ons didn’t change anything about those matches at all. They literally do almost nothing lol. If she was using GC/ SP/Oak if would’ve been over even faster.

Yeah not a big fan of haste or hindered status effects, it's another negative of modern day DBD along with anti-loop killers. I really wish they would stop doing this but here we are…

Those addons aren't good, the numbers are way too small and it doesn't last long enough to mean much. Is it lazily designed? Yes, but they aren't impossible to go against.

No one uses 5 sec useless haste on huntress, they got better addons to use.
Just try using those by yourself before getting mad like that.

It's so funny tho. Making new killer perks with more haste then giving add ons with more haste. But can't let thosepesky survivors have more haste perks even tho by default they are still slower than killer. It's so funny atp

The only haste I accept is bloodlust, and even then tiers 2 and 3 are rarely ever in my matches.
I still think the way maps and powers are laid out, adding haste just makes things worse. There could be an argument for hindered, but even that's annoying.

Of course their answer to buffing killers is haste. People spent 5 months screaming about how insanely, game-winningly-overpowered 3% haste is.
Although now it's certainly flipped into '3% doesn't make that big of a difference' now that MfT has been torched to the ground. Funny that.

I don't think Made for This would've been complained about if it lasted for 5 seconds after being injured.
6 -
Also people do complain about Skull Merchant's haste which is 3% on 1 trackable survivor.
4 -
Haste is definitely something they should play around with less and not more.
However, I don't think Huntress will be a big problem with these addons.

My tinfoil hat conspiracy is that at a certain point, survivors git too gud against M1 so there's no way to catch these people off guard so why not throw off their muscle memory with a Machine Learned Skull Merchant.
That'll keep the pros on their toes…or something.
This is a terrible example as nobody here plays Yugioh/Master Duel but haste is literally the card Maxx "C". Even a playground deck from 2005 could beat a pro 2000$ elite meta deck from today just by flipping 1 card, and maybe that helps with retention by giving new players the illusion that they have a chance to win

Do you think you would have won if she had different addons? Sounds like you got guys got rocked by a good Huntress.

Since this post is about killers in general, trickster got a free, base kit 5% permanent speed boost.
According to the forums, that should put him above SM and he should have a 75% or higher win rate at this point.

Yet its a problem when survivors try to stack hate effects with made for this(most likely hope and nothing else ) for just 110% speed yet killers have an abundance of haste stacking perks and add ons that can make them like 130+ ms and its not a problem. It is sad man.

Won? Who knows. Lasted longer? Definitely. That extra haste is the difference between making the next loop or getting dropped quickly, especially with her increased movement speed while holding, wind up time decrease, etc. not to mention stacking that with other haste related perks like batteries included, pwyf, etc
