I dont understand the mechanic of making unhooking un stoppable. It takes away counterplay for survivors unhooking against ranged killers. Survivors are still going to bm in other ways teabagging at the hook or whatever it may be they will still find a new way. Unless you make it where once the unhook has started no mater what stage the killer cant interupt it. This is a bad change.

How did you made the link between not being able to cancel an unhook and survivors attempting to be rude?

Yeah, this change needs some tweaks. It dramatically buffs proxy camping with something like insta-down hatchets and makes unhooking against a camping Deathslinger impossible. I get that being unhook spammed is annoying, but there are more nuanced changes BHVR could do that wouldn't buff proxy camping so much.

That''s the reason for the change in the patch notes. You'll no longer be able to cancel unhooks in order to stop people from spamming it to BM.
I agree with OP. It's a rather pointless change and the unhook spam is basically a non-issue.
