Tapping 99 gates no longer opens

Among animation issues and stuttering, I noticed that opening 99% gates is not the same after yesterday's deployment. Before you could just tap the button and it would open fine, but now you need to commit to the full time of the animation. Has anyone else noticed something similar?

    Sounds like they made it where progress doesn't start until the animation ends. Probably due to the UE5 change.
