Do You Think Myers' Weapons Are Different Lengths?
I use the pipe because it makes me feel more confident.
However, looking at these pictures of him that I took with him in the same exact position, it appears they are the same.
I think it just depends on where he holds the weapon as opposed to the actual length of it.
Does the pipe really give you better range or are they all the same?

Every killer's lunge works exactly the same, the weapon you use doesn't have any impact on it.
The only exception to this is a handful of killers like:
- Myers in tier 3 has longer lunge
- Myers in tier 1 has a shorter lunge
- Nurse blink lunge is shorter
- Killers with Coup de Grace can lunge further
- Some killer addons like legion can make their lunge longer in their power.
But, for context, a killer's hitbox extends out about 2 meters (this is unproven for sure, but it appears to be that way based on my testing). And lunging makes you move forward and increases your movement speed to by 50% for 0.8 seconds. This amounts to 6.9 m/s This means that a full lunge is 5.52 meters + 2 meter hitbox. For slower killers that are 4.4, they actually increase their speed by 56.8%, and nurse increases by 79%, so it rounds out to NEARLY 6.9 m/s.
Now, when you factor in survivors moving, they move at 4.0 m/s, so for that 0.8 seconds, they actually moved away from you by 3.2 meters. So when you factor that in, you need to be 5.52 + 2 - 3.2 = 4.32 meters away from the survivor to actually lunge at them when they are running away from you.
EDIT: Changed the numbers which changed the math a bit, i was following old numbers i had, but now fixed it.

So the thickness of the pipe doesn't give me a better chance of a successful basic attack anymore than the skinny screwdriver?

All lunges end up the same distance regardless of the actual size of the weapon, so there's no real gameplay benefit to bringing any of the weapons. It's why Freddy's lunge feels longer than it should be, because he has to make the distance most killers do with a weapon, when he's just ole Sharp Hand Joe.
