Design your own modifiers

So, many people are bored with the same old game, and many people enjoy the limited-time modifiers that the devs have put out in the last few months. But what if we could make up our own ways to play the game to shake things up a bit? I'll share a few ideas that I've seen from streamers.

Play Who You Verse - Play a Survivor game, and whichever Killer you face, play as that Killer in the next match. Ideally with the same build, but not necessary. Or if you're a Killer main, play as the Survivor with the highest score, ideally with the same build.

Madness - Similar to the above, but you only play as the Killer you face if you die, or as the highest-scoring Survivor if you get 0-2k.

Doppelganger Challenge (Works best with solo queue Survivors) - Whichever random teammate has the highest score, copy their perks for the next match and try to beat their score. I've had a lot of fun playing with different perks, although so far I haven't been successful in beating the other person's score.

VIP (This one will require a 4-man SWF) - One Survivor is chosen as the VIP. Teammates can only use perks designed to protect others (i.e. Borrowed Time, Saboteur, Breakout, Background Player, etc.). The VIP must use self-defense (or better known as "second-chance" perks, i.e. Dead Hard, OTR, Unbreakable, probably Left Behind to help them find hatch). The goal is to ensure that the VIP escapes at all costs, even if the teammates have to sacrifice themselves.

There's all kinds of ways you can get creative in this game. What other ideas can you come up with?

    There was a mod where the map was randomly yfilled with beartraps and niether side could see there aura might be a fun mode

    Among us

    you can only queue up as survivor,

    the match has 5 survivors

    1 survivor is randomly chosen as the saboteur

    the object is to still repair all 5 gens in the map and escape, but in a time limite of 5 minutes

    Only indoor maps. No perks, add-ons and offerings

    the saboteur needs to regress generators by exploding them (they don't have skill checks but have the explode button available with a 10 seconds cool down, generators regress in every explosion as if a skill check was missed)

    only 1 survivor can work on a generator at time

    the maps spawn with a few computers that the saboteur can use to sabotage the map, such as blocking all gens for a few seconds, force difficult skill checks to a specific survivor for a short duration, forcing an alarm that needs to be stopped in a short period of time or the generators are blocked for a long period

    at any point any survivor can "arrest" any other survivor by coming closer to them and pressing a button, restraining that survivor for 30 seconds. The saboteur can do that as well. Faithful survivors gain extra points for restraining the saboteur, but the points are only revealed at the endgame score screen.

    Final objective is all 4 "faithful" survivors to escape by the exit gates. If the timer runs out and at least 1 faithful doesn't escape the saboteur wins

    I don't know, just a silly idea. Of course more stuff needs to be implemented for balancing reasons. Also, its too much work for just a modifier (considering the ones we already got)

    Domination

    There are 3 capture points, all of which are visible to the killer and survivors. Since theres only 1 killer and 4 survivors, he can capture it much faster than the survivors, and hooking survivors awards more points. For each survivor on the point the capture speed increases. Controlling a capture point adds to the total score for the team per second, and the initial capture awards bonus points. Losing the control zone takes away these bonus points.

    Once a certain threshold is reached on 1 side the enemy team starts breaking. If the killer side is breaking the exit gates are powered and survivors can leave freely. If the survivor side is breaking they all become exposed, have their aura revealed, and can be killed by the killers own hand.

    I remember something similar proposed in the player satisfaction survey. It was one of my least favorite ideas, tbh.

    I'm still open to more ideas that anyone can implement with the game we have now, rather than mods or modifier event.

    Hunt or be Hunted

    4 players. Everyone starts as Survivor. Item is spawned in the middle of map and is revealed to all players. Who ever picks it first, becomes the killer (Trapper with no power) after 3 seconds of cooldown. There are no generators and pallets respawn after 120 seconds excluding Main Building and Shack pallets. Entity blockers will block window after 2 vaults.

    Then 8 min countdown starts (visible to everyone on top screen). Survivors can't be downes or injured but each hit from the killer will gain 1 point. When countdown ends the player with most points wins.

    To become the killer, stun or blind the killer by any means to switch positions. Chests spawn only 2 but each grants flashlight (33%) or flashbang (66%).

    Probably wouldn’t work because SWF but all the Survivors load in as the killer that the Killer player selected. The Killer player has no terror radius. Survivors can attack each other but rather than damage, they get a short speed boost that forces them to run in a straight line kinda like how that one event item that killers get. You still have to do gens.
