When a survivor is within 6,8,10 meters of any totem their aura is revealed...

I feel like that's more or less Thrill of the Hunt except without the durability, barring instances where the totem is right next to a generator, but then it's not going to last long.

I also think it's op, especially since many totems spawn near a gen, which means the killer can guard both the totem and the gen with a single perk.

Maybe change it to just dull totem? Or maybe just destroyed totems (as long as the hex totem still stands)? Revealing aura near hex totems wouldn't work because I'm pretty sure it'll kill Hex: Thrill of the Hunt.

The idea is really cool, it makes the totems an extension of yourself, it's like Spies but for totems. If this only effects Dull totems this would be cool because it adds another totem that doesn't notify the Survivor that you have a totem. There are only 5 totems on the map and this would take 1 totem leaving 4 to show the Auras of Survivors and the proximity is small so it's not OP, running Spies with this could actually make it really powerful because you know someone was near the totem then when you get in range maybe they'll scare some crows.

Well imagine this, a survivor is walking or crouching near the totem yet doesn't know it's there and they're trying to avoid the killer. Now the killer basically has Scratched Mirror Myers and free hit/down just because they're close enough to it.

You're inside the killer shack and you decide to go into basement for loot or a save and there's a totem outside well the killer just got free Territorial on you.

The idea is nice but the drawbacks make it way overpowered instead of fixing the main problem which is spawn locations and heights etc.

But hexes are supposed to be overpowered because they can be destroyed... it would make thrill useless though as stated in a previous comment so maybe this would be a buff to thrill...... and I agree that band aids shouldnt be implemented problems should be fixed but this isnt a band aid idea this is a hex idea...

While i don't really know what to think of the idea itself, i do enjoy the thought of combining it with H: TotH.
"Huh? But they're practically giving the same effect of alerting you."
Yes, but i mean that you'll make a Survivor aware that you're running TotH when they touch their first Totem.
If you run TotH, they might wanna find out what other Hex Perks you're running. (You're not.)
Thus they'll be searching for all your Totems.
And this new Perk will go off like nuts.

How about Hex: I know what you're trying to do but I ain't having any of it.

For as long as the hex persists movement speed is decreased by 2% for all survivors and on your first vault the entity blocks the window.

If you cleanse the totem the obsession grants a movement penalty of 6% until the gates are powered and vaults block as you try and vault them(no vaulting😈)

Any negative statuses on the non obsessions are removed in breaking totem.
