If i own dead by daylight in epic games can i transfer it to steam without having to buy it again?

Title, basically.
I have the game on epic games and made some progress there (not much, im still fairly new) and would love to be able to have the game on steam too. ¿Can i do it, without having to buy it again?

As far as I know you need to own the game on each platform you play it on to transfer progress.
