Why do Swfs get mad when you win

Context: I was playing a match as wesker where they sent me to coal tower. They were clearly playing to win as they did gens efficiently and were predroppig most pallets. Once I reached 2 gens 0 hooks they started playing toxic and flashlight clicking. I was able to get a hook with a nice flick I got on wesker and decided to try and snowball on that. I successfully did by slugging them and chaing the last guy who was on the last gen. After that they all called me dog and trash and left comments on my steam profile because I won that match. This happens a lot with swfs I play against. You lose the match its a "GG" you win the match its a "Your Trash".

I think because some of these teams consistently win so when they lose by being overly confident it kinda hurts their ego.
I would not engage with the toxic players in chats after the match survivors or killers just ignore them as lot of them look for reaction an only engage with friendly people.

That's just a lot of people in multiplayer games in general honestly.

Just as not everyone who plays games is a gamer, there are also pockets of people who pretend to play games and make a living from mocking others. In reality, their numbers are not so small that they can be ignored, which brings these problems to light.

You're supposed to be content creation by adding to the epic Background Player montages

I kid you not I got flashbanged 6 times in one match and yet I was the bad guy for nodding when the 7th failed. Guy was having the time of his life yelling "caught in 4K #####! This is going in the Montage haha" (spoiler alert: stream got pulled offline as soon as he died)

Some folks don't want you to be patient but rather just act on immediate emotional impulse and go on tilt

It's a salve for their bruised little egos. The most unhinged I've seen people in DBD are SWFs that are losing or have lost. They often can't wrap their brains around it. Especially if they lost to a big comeback snowball when they thought they had it in the bag.

And calling someone trash after they beat you is one of the most hilarious things there is. Like if I'm trash and I just beat you, what does that make you? Garbage juice? Pure salt.

Just take the L and move on, you're making yourselves look stupid.

Because no one likes losing and some people can't control themselves so they take it out on others (you).

Anyone who's used to winning all the time is going to be upset when they lose. Just goes for most people in general.

Same reason the P100, quad meta Nurse with the best addons and a map offering for Midwich gets mad when she loses. It hurts their ego.

    Welcome back xltechno!

And yes this is true, there’s a lot of gamesmanship going on. It’s difficult to ignore and as you say, is big enough to bring these problems to light.
