Question about DLCs and cross-progression...

So I'm hearing that in order to carry over your DLC characters to other platforms when cross progression comes out, you have to purchase them in-game with auric cells (which I don't even think is officially confirmed by the devs). However, purchasing them through the platform itself (which is Steam for me), gets you a few cosmetics as well. So if I purchase the characters with auric cells, does this mean I'm screwed out of getting those cosmetics? Or I can be screwed the other way, purchase through Steam, and then have to re-purchase the DLC on the other platform...

    Yeah the DLC exclusive cosmetics don't come with the characters you buy in game with auric cells.
