Cross progression problem

Guys, I'm having a problem. I'm trying to link my steam account to behavior, so I can migrate to steam (I'm from epic games) so I need to put my steam in behavior, but it gives the following error: "AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED, The connection to your Behavior account has failed for the following reason: You cannot link a Steam account different from the previous one before 8/2/2024"

I think I previously put in the wrong Steam account, it wasn't mine. Can I somehow log in to my account without getting this error?

    you have to wait some time and should then be able to link that other account, apparently you gotta wait until August 2nd
