Could i have a definite answer from a dev? are using crosshairs allowed?

i would like to try using a crosshair but, i dont know if bhvr is 100 percent ok with it, i remember an AMA about this, but i think it was Mike whispering that you could use a crosshair, but i think a prefer a definite answer to remove all doubt. a crosshair doesnt modify game files at all, so i think its safe, but like i said its better to be safe then sorry.

    you can use one (you could literally just make a physical one on the monitor)

    But if you somehow use a program for it that uses/changes DbD files, and Easy Anti Cheat detects that and bans you then BHVR won’t do anything for you

    They won't ban you for it, so it only depends on whether or not the programm is whitelisted by EAC, if it is then it is fine.

    At the moment i wouldn't recommend risking using a program crosshair, but if your monitor has a built in crosshair you should be fine to use that.

    Really wish they'd just add one to the game. It's literally "We don't want to add a crosshair, but if you want to use one then that's fine, but it's not an option in the game"
