Mage hand is not op the Addon was
For the people complaining about Vecna only good power being to strong first off Devs should have known MH was never gonna have a perfect balance and should have just made vorpal sword basekit or a new power entirely second the only reason why MH is busted was cause the yellow addon (Ring of Telekinesis) now Peanits confirmed the addon (getting reworked) and basekit MH is getting nerfed which is a TERRIBLE IDEA direct nerfs to the power should not go through but rework the addon only.
Second FOTD is completely useless cause crouch completely hard counters this power the only reason why you get value from it is by doing the Uncounterable tech by spawning FOTD directly in the survivors hitbox due to its unreactable spawn time and far spawning distance. Devs should honestly make this not a thing and pull FOTD Spawns closer to Vecna.

FOTD is fine. Mage Hand getting nerfed isn't a big deal. It was buffed right out the gates alongside all the other buffs Vecna got to make his spells less clunky to use.

The change won't do much imo. I have yet to escape just one game against him, I am a soloQ survivor tho, so the devs don't really think about me at all.

Both of your takes are wrong. The mage hand nerf is actually a buff against good survivors. The addon already shows that because by lifting pallets faster, survivors are able to drop the pallet to stun Vecna. Having to crouch only counters the power against bad Vecnas. You slow down when you crouch and lose distance. A good Vecna will use it to guarantee hits because if you crouch, they'll just whack you.

It's definitely not a buff though. The longer pick up animation will help survivors get around the loop again before vecna catches up, unless vecna uses mage hand while the survivor is dropping the pallet. The nerf will simply allow mage hand to actually be mindgamed. That is better in my eyes than the small chance of being able to drop the pallet again before vecna reaches the survivor.

Radical survivor only main? I play killer, and started out as a killer main. Mage Hand wasn't bad in the PTB, it was just the cooldown being 50 seconds, the movement speed upon casting spells being 2.3m/s, and the movement speed when selecting spells being 3.68m/s instead of 4.0m/s
Vecna was very clunky in the PTB, which they fixed.
