Why can't Victor go through portals?

It's so ridiculous that you can end a chase just by going through a portal. This new map is atrocious and there's so many oversights it's not even funny.

I am willing to bet money they simply forgot to include this for him. Twins Players really can't catch a break.

I wonder if you can put Trapper/Hag traps on the exit portals.

Not right on them, but into the infinite.
As Trapper, the best spot is on the stairs.
As Hag, anywhere around the portal loop
