Hello can you guys suggest the best 2 combo of gen regress/slowdown perks?

Im trying to have a balanced build with my demogorgon that has at least 2 gen regress/slowdown perks and the other perks will be for chase/aura reading/endgame depends on what I want to use for that game.

Whats the best or good gen combos? only 2 perks. I want to try corrupt and deadlock, its still pretty good right? I have pain res but i dont like it that much because of the rng of scourge hooks I think deadlock is more consistent or easier to use. Thoughts?

It's probably still Pain Res + Pop.

Corrupt + Deadlock is good though.

Ruin can work quite well on demo. Demo is good at defending totems. You can combine it with Pain res.

    Corrupt + No Way Out

Eruption + Grim embrace / nowhere to hide

I like to use Pain Res and Grim Embrace. Both of these perks do require unique first hooks though so it's not super reliable for that reason but it's decently rewarding.

I'm always for less is more. But you do you. Pain res and or pop should be enough if you can keep up with chase.

Deadlock is simple to use because it's guaranteed value. If that's up you alley, feel free to use it.

I'm a fan of no way out. Gives you a fighting chance in end game, so the match before that go a bit south.

Corrupt is always good but similarly to deadlock a bit boring.

    Try switching things up.

Personally, I like to train my killers power with no - only one perk.

Piggy and Sadako have build in slowdown though, therefore less of a need for those perks.

    Stbfl all the way!!!

im kinda sad they nerfed stbl but with the recent sabotage hooks buff I feel like the cooldowns with m1 would really be good a lot of body blocking also. and you are right a lot of games I lose momentum and I feel like no way out would give me a fighting chance to comeback.

The nerf did nothing to me. Yes, losing out stacks is bad. Especially for gameplay, because it results in the killer ignoring a survivor, where before they would be able to chase everyone.

The Perk needed it's camping strength reduced but they sadly didn't do that.

Stbfl has an irreplaceable effect. I have it autolocked for over 3 years on both of my mains now. The day I stop using it on Pig is the day it either gets a completely new effect or I stop playing dbd / Pig in general.

Personally I would use lethal over corrupt, because it teaches you spawn logic.

    No way out over deadlock.

Deadlock teaches bad habits IMO, therefore I can't recommend it.

    Surge/Pain Res

I agree with a lot of these, but I wanna throw in Oppression. Even though it has a horrible cooldown, it's such a neat perk because it lets you hit three gens at once. It's insanely underrated imo, and it can really work on any killer, so Demo should be all good.

Effect is not bad, but as you said. Cooldown keeps it from even remotely viable.

Make it like 50 seconds and it might be good enough for some builds.

This perk definitely doesn't live up to it's name.

Couldn't agree more, the cooldown needs to be buffed. I still think it's a fun little perk, but it isn't anything super incredible to use.

Combine oppression with security and you're know the gens getting hit.

Pain res and pop have been nerfed to the ground, its useless to run both of them now

If you dont bring grim embrace or deadlock, your gens will fly with an average mid tier killer

Corrupt is definitely the best slowdown in the game now IMO but doesn't combo with anything really at least not with any slowdown unless you do like Corrupt/BBQ/Grim and then you get good early slowdown and get given a new target while blocking gens and hopefully that's enough to snowball but then I'm just suggesting an entire build for you.

Instead as a combo I'm going to suggest plaything/pentimento as still being very solid. It takes more game sense to know when to activate the pentimento totems and is less good against SWFs making call outs but 90% of the time it's very brutal in how much time it wastes.

Corrupt and PR will teach you the best habits.

Corrupt will let you learn some Survivor spawns and PR will teach you to go for fresh hooks and not crutch hard on tunneling when you're learning.

Deadlock is something I'd avoid as I think it rewards passive play too much.

Myself i feel you get more value out of blocking gens than regression now, PR would be the only viable regression for me that you can use when needed. Otherwise Deadman's switch with Grim embrace or Ultimate weapon. Probably ultimate weapon would be better for demo, port to middle of map and open locker.
