Last Night in Soho Chapter Concept
I barely use DBD forums but I wanted to share this chapter concept for the movie Last Night in Soho. I'm sure a lot of you haven't seen the movie but it's a really really good one which I feel would be perfect and fun for DBD.
Chapter: Last Night in Soho
Killer: The Songstress (Sandie Collins)
(Could have different of her iconic outfits displayed throughout the movie, including a legendary old age outfit)
Power: Regretful Reflection
You envy those who still have a chance to change their lives, just like a mirror of your dead, youthful self.
- The Songstress can place up to 7 tall mirrors which she can enter and exit
- Mirrors explode after entry or exit by any means. (except for certain add-ons)
- It will take 1 second to enter a mirror and 2 seconds to exit a mirror.
- While inside a mirror, you travel through a reflected version of the map at 50% haste,
- All mirrors in both dimensions are highlighted in a white aura.
- After exiting a mirror you walk with 5% haste for 3 seconds. If you hit a survivor within those 3 seconds, the survivor is put into deep wound unless they are injured.
- The Songstress has the ability to track footsteps while inside the mirror.
- If all mirrors are broken while the songstress is inside, the songstress will be teleported back into the map with a 5 second stun.
- Survivors can see the songstress while she is on the other side of the mirror.
- The songstress can peek out of mirrors from the reflected side keeping her face hidden from survivors to decide whether to exit or to find a different mirror.
- Depending on the outfit the songstress is wearing, she will appear old in her mirror reflection if she has an outfit when she is young. She will appear young in her mirror reflection if she has an outfit set where she is old.
- While inside the mirror, survivors see her original outfit. (Ex: If you are wearing an outfit where Sandie is young, your reflection will appear that way to survivors when you are inside the mirror. Outside of the mirror, your mirror reflection is old/young depending on your outfit.
- When the mirror explodes, shards will launch and potentially hit survivors if timed right, putting them in deep wound.
Counter
- Survivors can obtain hammers from special vintage chests which can be used to smash mirrors. There 7 chests around the map highlighted in a white aura. After collecting a hammer, the chest disappears and reappears in a different location after 60 seconds.
- Hammers can only be used once and break after use.
- Broken mirrors can only be fixed by the songstress.
Perks:
Hex: Just A Taste of Things To Come
You enjoy giving a bitter taste of inevitable death to others who cross your path.
"This is just a taste of things to come Sandie." - Jack
Gain 1 token up to 5 tokens after each unhook.
Each token will stack up 1% of the hindered status effect. Survivors will be exposed on the 5th token until the hex is cleansed or blessed.
Fatal Twist:
Your trickery puts survivors in difficult situations.
"You think she was an angel, but don't be fooled." - Lyndsey
False objectives appear throughout the trial. Survivors can interact with false chests and totems. Once a survivor is halfway through completing a false objective, the chest or totem will disappear and you will receive a loud action notification.
Survivor suffers 2/3/4% hindered for 15 seconds and will be exposed for 15 seconds after completing a false objective.
There are a total of 6 false objectives scattered throughout the map.
Rebellion:
You rebel against the entities standards.
"They sent me to hell, so, I sent them to theirs." - Sandie Collins
Once a survivor is on their second hook state, you gain the ability to expose them for 5/10/15 seconds. This perk then deactivates after use.
Reactivates once gates are powered
New Survivor: Ellie Turner
Perks:
Windows of The Past:
"Something about the 60s just speaks to me." - Ellie Turner
(Tribute to old mori system)
When you reach your 1st hook state, you become broken for the remainder of the trial.
You complete objectives 15%/25%/35% faster but the next time you are downed, the killer can execute you by their hands/instantly sacrifice you on the hook.
Pay Your Dues:
"We all pay for broken mirrors deary-" - Sandie Collins
By pressing the special ability button, you can add 10%/15%/20% to the generator you are repairing.
As penalty, you must press the special ability button to subtract 10%/15%/20% from a different generator. If you die or do not complete the subtraction, 10%/15%/20% will be deducted from the final generator when it reaches 99%. Pay Your Dues then deactivates for the remainder of the trial.
Signature Design:
"I had a hunch you made that." - Jocasta
You can throw a luxuriant 60s-style fabric at the killer after fully healing a survivor, blocking their field of view for 2/3/4 seconds. This perk can only be used up to 2 times.
