Is it possible that survivors can crash your game?

Member Posts: 170

The weird thing i encounter, and only encounter, is when i play Tombstone Myers, my game seems to be disconnecting. I have stable internet and everything else is working for me.

Is it possible that Survivor players can crash your game when they are not happy who you verse?

it may be possible for hackers, but it’s very unlikely for you to always face them when you play this build and if they are hackers they would have other possibilities than just crashing your game..

Hackers can do that, but there's also been a lot of server instability lately and that's probably a likelier cause than targeted attacks.

Technically, this is possible. Hackers can do the craziest things. But it's very unlikely. There aren't that many hackers in DBD and the chances that all of them would be able to do that is astronomically low.

It's been a long time since I had a hacker crash my game. I was playing on Switch and the hacker was mad I was ignoring them and being friendly with everyone else, so they kept doing more and more and the Switch couldn't handle it and crashed.

Bullying a killer on Switch who's already dealing with performance issues and is mostly goofing off. People need to get a life.

Anyway, it can happen, but I don't think it's common. DbD's servers are known to have issues (and support likes to tell us 'nuh-uh, it's on your end'), so it's more likely due to that.

I experience higher-than-normal amount of server DCs when playing as Myers also. Other killers don’t seem to be affected.

I had one the other day after I hooked the last survivor the game just "suspiciously " crashed rewarding me 0 points.
