Dbd x Final Fantasy concept
I know what you're thinking, "Oh, how high the mighty have fallen…" "Why Final Fantasy," you ask? Because just like Alien, Alan Wake, Dungeons & Dragons, Castlevania AND Tomb Raider... Final Fantasy was one of the licenses listed on the satisfaction survey a couple years back. And I'll be honest... I NEVER played Final Fantasy, I know, I'm uncultured. But I do know a few of the characters, so I figured, "Why not make a concept?", so I did... But because I never played FF7, this wasn't well thought out; I'm just going by what I know, but anywho...
New Map: Wall Market, if you have any good alternatives, feel free to leave it in the comments. I figured I'd go for something "flashy". Wall Market to me seems like a memorable theme for a Map. It could also help with our Trickster map fix since there's quite a few neon signs.
New Killer: Sephiroth, a.k.a. The Angel
His Power: Heck If I Know. You could give him an ability to hit the Survivor from above, like he did to so-and-so. Then again, some maps are indoors, so maybe he could perform a dash or two, then end it with a triple slash. Either taking away a health state, or completely putting you in the dying state.
His Mori: So-and-so's death...
New Survivor: Tifa Lockhart, has more cosmetic potential than Cloud, she's got a swimsuit, dresses, cowgirl outfit; she could rival that of Sable and Thalita, or any of the S.T.A.R.S team. She could have a unique perk that allows her to outright flip-kick a killer when she's on her death hook, once per trial.
Some Outfits and Legendaries: Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough. Feng can have a set as Yuffie, and Adam as Barret.
Honestly, despite not actually playing FF7, this seems like the perfect FF chapter, I could be wrong, but feel free to write your critique in the comments.

Square Enix will never allow Tifa to be in a game where she gets thrown on meat hooks and has her guts ripped out by Freddy Krueger. If Final Fantasy ever made it into DBD I imagine it would have to come from one of the M rated games like FF 16.

There was also games like Nier: Automata, Persona, Metal Gear, and even Doom in the survey. Things that were either NOT horror or really wouldn't work as an official chapter. I recon, and go figure, most of these is to sell cosmetics.

Opinion respected. I'm sure that just because Final Fantasy was in the survey, it wouldn't mean they're guaranteed to add it as an actual chapter. Maybe, maybe not. I still thought that it'd be fun to make a concept, because you never know. I mostly went for what was currently mainstream. I think Tifa fits the role of base Survivor more than Cloud, or Clive Rosefield. But then again, we may be get either a Belmont or Alucard for the Castlevania chapter; what would I know at this point? I do believe though that Square would make easy money from adding fan favorites from the series. I recon they'll start resorting to non-horror chapters once they start running out of horror or semi-horror IPs. I might be sounding like an idiot. So far, IMO we've seen a bit of this with the Rainbow Six Seige collab. We've seen this plenty of times, with Trickster and Skull Merchant. We might get Final Fantasy, 50/50. But anyway, thanks for reading. 👍
